Vanta Design Wins Highlight CeBit '99
CEBIT - HANNOVER, GERMANY - MARCH 22, 1999 - At CeBit today, NVIDIA(TM) Corporation
(NASDAQ: NVDA) officially launched the NVIDIA Vanta graphics processor designed
specifically for value-conscious users.
This low-cost, highly integrated graphics processor will allow
add-in-card vendors and OEM's to provide a graphic processor, complete with breakthrough
3D and industry leading 2D performance, for their entry-level add-in-card and motherboard
solutions. Combined with the previously announced Detonator drivers, NVIDIA provides
software compatibility across its entire product line.

mass market," said Jeff Fisher, vice-president of sales at NVIDIA. "Vanta's
unique combination of high-performance graphics and extremely aggressive pricing allows
our OEM's and system builders to deliver NVIDIA's industry-leading graphics processors to
two markets not currently being addressed by our RIVA-based family."
NVIDIA Vanta has already been met with immediate
success. 10 companies, including A-Open, Asustek, ELSA, Diamond Multimedia, Gainward,
Gigabyte, Guillemot, Leadtek, Mirostar, Prolink and Yuan.
Yuan will be demonstrating their new Vanta-based products for the first time at Cebit '99
in Hannover, Germany. These companies are estimated to deliver over one-third of the
graphics products to the worldwide systems builder market.

NVIDIA Vanta
This latest addition to the NVIDIA family is a
low-cost, 128-bit TwiN Texel, highly integrated 2D/3D graphics processor, designed
specifically for the value-conscious users. Leveraging the RIVA TNT2 core architecture,
NVIDIA Vanta delivers breakthrough 3D and industry leading 2D graphics performance, making
it the ideal solution for 1999 value desktops. In addition to its outstanding graphics
capabilities, the NVIDIA Vanta provides complete support for video, software and hardware
DVD playback as well as the latest system technologies such as AGP4X and flat panel
displays.
The NVIDIA Vanta graphics processor is perfect for small and
medium business users who require a high-performance 2D platform and for corporate users
who also have data-intensive visualization demands. NVIDIA Vanta will be WHQL certified
for Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, Windows NT 3.5, Windows 98 and Windows 95. The drivers
for Vanta are forward and backward compatible

Pricing and Availability
The NVIDIA Vanta graphics processor will be priced at $19.00
in 10,000 unit
quantities. The NVIDIA Vanta is sampling now and in will be in
full production
this quarter.
NVIDIA Processors
The RIVA family of 3D/2D processors, the RIVA TNT2(TM), RIVA
TNT(TM), RIVA 128ZX(TM) and the RIVA 128(TM) is the first family of high performance
